The falls from the bridge

Details:

Stepped Falls is a 3 stepped waterfall just above a road bridge. Brown Brook makes a pair of river wide drops over ledges, then gathers and drops into a tight cleft immediately below the bridge.

Photography Notes:

The falls aren't especially photogenic, particularly in low water. In high water, I've seen some pretty convincing photos. If you go, have a tripod and a polarizer, and try to find better water levels than I did.

Directions:

From West Campton, take the Ellsworth Road becoming Ellsworth Hill Road becoming Stinson Lake Road (don't worry, it's the same road...no turns) for about 5.5 miles. There is a bridge over the falls immediately followed by a 90 degree turn to the left. You can't miss the falls unless you're asleep.
