Details:

According to the caption on the postcard, this is near Lake Mansfield. I suspect this is a cascading small stream that empties into the upper end of the lake, shortly before the parking area at the private club at the end of the road. When I was there, I didn't see any signs of postings, but the large private club made me feel as though I was intruding. Please be respectful of their privacy, and look for postings. If the area is posted, please leave.

Photography Notes:

This is a long rocky cascade through moderate hardwood forest. Lighting on a sunny day would be problematic to say the least. This is definitely a waterfall for an overcast day, early morning, or later in the afternoon.

Directions:

Take Route 100 north out of Waterbury. One mile past the Stowe town line, turn left on Moscow Road and follow this to Nebraska Valley Road. Follow Nebraska Valley Road to Lake Mansfield and look for the falls on your right.
